The bricks comapny manufacture is situated right near the Squatter Camp called Joko Tea and Bophelong township. Communities living nearby,complains about emissions and the black dust they inhale coming from this companies. The company decide to come from nowhere to build their plant where people are staying . This company did not consult with the community to tell what are they going to do, they just do whatever they like because they have big bucks,the poor community just observe them making profit over their life ,community complains that they don’t benefit nothing from this company instant of receiving lots of sicknesses caused by the chemicals they use to manufacture their bricks. Illness such as sinus, skin irritation, swollen feet , eyes irritation.Community feels that living with pollution is not an option because the comapnies are not offering the jobs. Even when they are sick they have scramble and struggle to go to the doctors, clinic are always full an can't accomodate everyone. Community's appeal to government to listen with Humanity and protect their rights.
